Exploring the New Moon in Leo Energy & Meditation

As I sit in my garden this morning, I find myself reflecting and getting ready for this August New Moon. I learned that this is a moon where we need to sit still and allow. I Immediately began to ask myself ZINA WHAT IF YOU…
Just let go of the fear, of pain, of the disbelief in yourself.
What IF you stop being so critical of yourself and just do the thing you really wanna do and WHAT IF the negative thoughts come up but THIS TIME, you just ignore them? Followed up with some affirmations.
WHAT IF when things do not work out, you just push through. And this time you no longer worry about what others are thinking or how they feel about you?
What if this time I believe in me and I push through? What if I live my dreams as if Spirit is the director and iI’m the lead actress creating my best life?
What if I leave abandonment, sorrow, fear, and death in the past?! What if I DECIDE they had their time with me and I’m grateful for all the lessons and blessings, but this is where the journey becomes mine? The true authentic me can be free to do, say, feel, love whatever I choose.
I recently saw a post on Facebook where someone was asking “How does she know if this time is the right time?” She has started things many times in the past and not finishing them for many of reasons. The young lady was looking for advice, so I offered her to sit still and meditate on what it is she is looking to do and ask for clarity on what is holding her back in the past.
From my personal experience I have learned when we are starting things and not completing them, it is because there is a lesson to be learned. There is some self-work that needs to be done. When I speak on self-work, I am speaking about clearing up the things that are rooted inside of us. Maybe something someone said to you when you were young, and it had an affect on you that caused emotions of incompletion? Trauma, rape, loss of a family member, loss of feeling safe leads to many different emotional / energic blocks in our mind, body, and spirit. The point is it could be many things and one will never know if we do not take the time to do the self-care work.
There comes a time where we all must do the self-work. It’s a part of us maturing, growing and becoming wise. Which is why I encouraged her to ask for clarity on what is holding her back. What is the lesson that needs to be learned before she can progress to what it is she is looking to do?
This thing we call life is a lot like anything else. You cannot go on to the next thing if you have not learned the basics. The basics of life is going through lessons to get to know your true authentic self, so we can live in joyfull bliss.
Getting to know what is rooted inside will allow the energy to move us to a place of empowerment, enlightenment and becoming the true Kings and Queens we are. This is self-care work we cannot ignore, and the steps we cannot afford not to take.
We are currently in Kundalini Awakening Energy. This is the most powerful energetic force and it rules over creative energy. Making this the perfect time to challenge you to sit and take a mediation trip with me.
Put on some of soft music (no words). Light some candles, burn your favorite scent. Lay back, take a deep breath and when you’re ready …
(Say your name) WHAT IF YOU let go of (say whatever comes up first)? Do not try to control it. And if nothing comes up continue to ask your-self. Be patient with yourself. Once you come up with the answer. Move forward.
FYI* THE ANSWER DOES NOT ALWAYS SHOW UP RIGHT AWAY. But if you continue to sit with this IT WILL REVEAL ITSELF.
Once you’re ready to move forward ask yourself WHAT IF YOU LIVE YOUR DREAMS TO THE FULLEST? ALOWING NOTHING OR NO ONE TO STOP YOU FROM BEING THE TRUE YOU. WHAT IF…..?
Again, you might have three answers right away, Then, again, you might not. But keep doing this meditation every one to two days and the answer will come. Consistency is the key.
Once you’re done with mediation, allow yourself to come back into the room slowly and journal all that came up for you. You can also journal anything that came up in mediation.
Please feel free to continue this mediation as needed.
